built very robust. They are equipped with two babbitt bearings at each end. The shaft exiting the
Babbitt bearing is 23” diameter and has a bolted coupling at one end that is 3’ 10” diameter. The
coupling has a cross straight Key. There 10 bolts that bolt the coupling to the drive shaft. I am
estimating that the motors were shut down in early 90s and were kept inside under cover in a dry
area. There is one spare rebuilt stator also available. |
